Using I135-Xe135 Parent-Daughter Isotopic Activity Ratio for Dating a Recent Nuclear Event

چکیده
This work focuses on the determination of time zero nuclear events considering Xe-135/I-135 isotopic activity ratio. Considered as relevant isotopes for CTBT, theses two radionuclides are usable radioactive release timing. According considered databases, some parameters namely A, U and F evaluated taking into account numerical difference between values from database. We found that these give different by databases ENDF 2011 TENDL 2011. These proposed can be used a quick accurate evaluation event its upper lower age limits.

Cation-ratio Dating of Petroglyphs Using Pixe
A central problem in archaeological research has been the chronometric dating of petroglyphs (rock engravings). Recent improvements in the understanding of the chemistry of rock varnish (or patina) that develops on rock surfaces in arid regions has resulted in the development of a calibrated dating technique, cation-ratio (CR) dating. This is based on calibrating chemical changes in minor and m...
متن کاملIdentifying Parent-Daughter Relationships Among Duplicated Genes
In this paper we use the length of the shared synteny between genes to identify "parent" orthologs among multiple lineage specific duplicated genes. Genes in the region around each duplicated paralog are compared with the genes flanking an outgroup ortholog to estimate the probability of observing homologs in syntenic vs. non-syntenic regions. The length of the shared synteny is introduced as a...
متن کاملRecent Developments in Discrete Event Systems
This article is a brief exposure of the process approach to a newly emerging area called "discrete event systems" in control theory and summarizes some of the recent developments in this area. Discrete event systems is an area of research that is developing within the interstices of computer, control and communication sciences. The basic direction of research addresses issues in the analysis an...
متن کاملDevelopment of a model for parent-adolescent daughter communication about sexuality.
This study aimed to develop a model for parent-adolescent daughter communication about sexuality (PDCS). The subjects were 18 mother-doughter pairs. The females were 12-13 years old studying in the 7th grade of a secondary school in Bangkok. The model had 3 parts: (1) the process of PDCS development, (2) the essential components, characteristics and patterns of PDCS and (3) the impact of the pr...
